8 Mental Shifts That You Need In Order To Be Successful – Elite Profit System

Would you like to know the key difference maker when it comes to people who are MEGA SUCCESSFUL and those that struggle to “make it”?


Here is a list of 8 factors that will help you develop a winning mindset and transform you into a person who deserves massive success.


1. Don’t Get Stuck With Decision Making

This is a HUGE PROBLEM for most marketers. Most people in fact, they seem to have trouble with just making a decision and taking action, I know this because after training thousands of entrepreneurs, I see that not being able to make a decision is what holds people so many back.


Many of them just get stuck in a decision paralysis mode.


Whether it be trying out a new traffic source or investing in a new course or joining a program that can help them get to the next level or redoing a funnel….people just keep thinking and thinking and thinking about taking a plunge.


Time flies by and they are still out there thinking and analyzing. This results in chasing the next shiny object.


Look, if you are going to take ANY ACTION, you need to analyze it thoroughly from top to bottom but ONCE YOU HAVE DONE IT, you have to spring into action.


If you look at all the successful people in the world, you would notice every one of them to be good at decision making.


Here’s another way of looking at it:

If you take any decision out there and analyze it for long enough, you can find some small flaw in it that you can blow out of proportion.


Heck, 3 years back, if I had kept overthinking about online marketing, I would have succumbed to the chants of the crowd that said this was a scam.


But I didn’t.


I analyzed and then sprang into action.


The rest is history.


So always remember this:


Analyze well but make decisions fast.


Success is achieved by action takers.


Take action fast when you know there’s someone or something that can help you.


Not deep thinkers who do nothing.


2. Fail, Fail, Fail, Fail, Oh I WIN.

The fastest way to fail is to quit. The easiest way to always win is to overcome your failures by pushing through mentally and emotionally.


One my close friends mentioned in one of his blog posts as to how he tried to generate traffic back in the days when he was a newbie.


He spent 3 months in Traffic Swarm (a traffic exchange site) clicking ads and building up credits so that he could promote his website to other people on that site (who in turn would have to view his site to build up their credits – hey it’s a traffic exchange site).


After he had built up a good amount of credits, he advertised his site. Within 12 hours or so, he had used up around 1600 credits. But not a single lead had opted in to his list. All his efforts were gone in vain. At this point, what did he do?


He simply shrugged his head, said “oh man, this doesn’t work” and went on try something else.


That’s the mindset you need to have.


What would most people have done if they had the same happen to them?


They would have moaned and pouted and wasted time thinking about their flopped attempt instead of getting up and running again fast.


You see, no matter what you do, YOU WILL FACE FAILURES.


You will run into roadblocks.

But the key is to simply get up and keep running. 


If you have to fail 10,000 times to succeed, then wouldn’t you rather fail 10,000 times in 6 months instead of 6 years.

Personally I have lost count of the number of failures I have had. But I don’t think too much about them. I just try something else and soon enough I am onto a winner. Again, I don’t forget that it’s only a matter of time before


3. Invest The Right Energy In Yourself

While being able to bounce back from failures is a great quality to have, there is a way to drastically reduce the number of failures you face.


You do that by INVESTING in yourself.


You do that by INVESTING THE RIGHT energy in yourself, money, resources, energy and influence.


When you buy courses, attend LIVE mastermind events, hang out with successful marketers and pick their brains, you gain practical knowledge that would help you grow your business by leaps and bounds.


Your ROI would be insane.


You can NEVER GO WRONG when you choose to invest in yourself and take action.


Skills once learned and embraced can pay you for the rest of your life.


So invest in yourself.


In addition to that, spend some 30 to 60 minutes daily to gain new knowledge. Read books, listen to podcasts, check out the prominent articles in your niche, etc.


Get in sync with your market and know what exactly is going on.


That’s how you can spot lots of great opportunities and trends to exploit.


4. Get Over Your Self Limiting Beliefs

Most people say stuff like:

“I am too old.”

“I am not tech saavy”

“Internet is for youngsters”

“I can’t master paid advertising”

“I am not worthy enough for people to listen”

“I can’t get people to buy $5000+ products from me”


And the list goes on and on.


All these are pointless self limiting beliefs that you thrust upon yourself.


I have seen teenagers as well as guys at the age of 70+ succeeding online.


3 years back if I had put on self limiting beliefs on myself, today I would STILL be at some dead end job, looking forward to the weekends instead of living the life that I am living now.


No one really cares about who you are IF you can help them solve their problems through your products and services.


Also in today’s times, if you are not good at something, you can outsource that work and focus on things that can help you grow your business.


5. Progress Over Perfection

Now this is a VERY VERY UNSEXY TIP but it’s important.

If you work for me, you’ll hear this from me over and over again.



You can plan all you want.

You can invest in yourself all you want.

You can take big decisions all you want.




There is no substitute for effective execution.


Note the word “execution”.


I didn’t say hard work.


Success comes to those who GET THINGS DONE and not to those who just work aimlessly for long periods of time.


The reason why I rose so fast in my business was because: I executed things fast.


And when needed, I worked for long stretches and got things done.


Being able to execute tasks effectively is a HABIT.


You need to train your mind to be able to do this.


Keep practicing and soon you will find yourself getting more things done.


Here’s a tip:


The BIGGEST WAY to motivate yourself to get things done is by imagining the benefits of completing a particular task.


If I am writing an email or creating a video sales letter or crafting a webinar, I imagine the sales it would bring me.


And that keeps me going on and on and on.


When you get into a mode where you desperately want to get the fruits of your labour, you would find it FAR MORE EASIER to complete whatever you are working on.


In fact, you would get obsessed about completing it.


I have had this happen to me SO MANY TIMES.


So take this tip and run with it my friend.


Fire up your desire and make it push yourself.


And once you have worked hard and got things done, take some time to relax yourself.


Splurge a bit on yourself and your family.


Go to a nice restaurant or do whatever makes you happy.


Recharge your brain.


Enjoy life and celebrate your wins.


6. BHAG, Dream BIG & Plan Effectively 

When I got started online, I had small dreams. The problem with small dreams is that your subsequent actions are small too.


But when you dream big and aim for the stars, not only do you set yourself up to achieve as much as you can but you are also eliminating the dangerous practice of selling yourself short.


So Dream BIG my friend.


Once you have big dreams, its time to create actionable goals to achieve them.


Like a daily goal, weekly goal, monthly goal, yearly goal and 5 year goal.


When you have everything mapped out (the bigger goals can be vaguely mapped out), you will know EVERY SINGLE DAY whether you are on track or falling behind.


Knowing this will give you a sense of accountability and push you to achieve the best results possible.

Remember, just because you have goals does not mean you can’t enjoy life or you have to keep slogging 24/7.




Goals are there to help your targets in a systematic way.


The more organized and streamlined you and your business becomes, the faster it grows.


7. Automation, Systems, Processes & Team Work

To put it in a simplistic way:


Your income depends on how many warm prospects get exposed to your products every single day.

So if you want to maximize your income, you have to maximize the amount of warm prospects seeing your offers.


You do that by putting together marketing systems that do the job for you.


In today’s era, you can create marketing systems where you can target millions of highly responsive prospects, get the interested ones to click on to your website, warm them up through your follow up process and get them to buy from you again and again.


When you do this right, your income will grow.


Profits will climb.


And after a while, there will come a point when you will need to hire out people and put in processes in place so that they can run your existing systems (as well as develop new systems for you) and take your business to the next level.


This is how companies SCALE BIG.


Over the years, I have put together a great team who work behind the scenes to keep my business running smoothly.


Success in business is all about getting things to work FIRST and then taking yourself out of the equation so that they work faster.


8. Believe In Yourself

During your online journey, you will face a LOT OF HARDSHIPS.


Things won’t work as planned.


You will experience failure after failure after failure.


No matter what you do, you will hit a dead end.


You will feel trapped.


You will doubt yourself.


It will happen (and maybe its happening for you right now).


What you do in these times is what is going to determine your success.


Sometimes things happen that DEFY LOGIC.


Sometimes you can analyze what went wrong 100,000 times but still you wouldn’t be sure.


Shit happens.


Here’s something you need to know:

We humans always walk with our blindfolds on.


Its only when we are faced with a do or die situation, that we truly look around and see what our options are.


That’s why in front of absolute crushing failure, you should KEEP MOVING FORWARD.


When you do, you will notice different options that will help you get back on track to achieving your goals.

So always have belief in yourself.


We all have an infinite capability to improve ourselves and achieve things that we couldn’t even dream of achieving.


So when you are faced with failure, just tell yourself that you would keep moving and things would get better (which it will).


Sometimes in life, we get to a point where we have NOTHING LEFT except our belief.


Our lowest point where there is no one and no strategy out there to help us except the tiny voice in our head that says “its ok, we will overcome this”.


Listen to that voice.


Change your path, change your approach, change your strategy…do whatever….BUT NEVER STOP BELIEVING.


That is what keeps you going and one day you will look back (just like I do now) and feel grateful and happy that you never lost hope when everything in the world said you should.


Its CONQUERING those moments that help will get to where you want to be.


So these are the 8 mental shifts that helped me get to where I am today.


There is NO real secret to success.


Its ALL about trying out a LOT of things, finding what works and doing it over & over again.


That’s all there is to it.


Its all about having the mental discipline to keep going on even you are failing so that you can find out what works.


That’s what separates the winners from the rest.


So make it a point to work on your mindset everyday and keep moving forward.


When you do that, you will become successful no matter what business you are in or what product you are selling.


I know this for a fact because I have seen it happen to me as well as tons of my students and clients.
